getting document collection from JavaScript client side

Hi All,

I'm a new developer in Xpages (but not in notes),

I need help in getting data from document collection. (If even possible)

I know how to do it in the server side but i need it in the client side.

not sure that is possible. but you can get the data from a collection client side using different techniques, like AJAX

be more specific, it's hard to tell your skill level based on your brief question.
